Petty Theft

A $200 cell phone was stolen in Café Roma between 10 and 10:20 a.m. on Dec. 2.

Someone stole $300 from a wallet in the Center for Health Sciences Emergency Room between Nov. 23 and Nov. 25.

A bicycle was stolen from the Kinross bike racks between 12:15 and 1:05 p.m. on Nov. 30.

Someone stole a $130 bike from a garage on Sawtelle Avenue on Nov. 30.

Grand Theft

A stereo, money and CDs were stolen from a green 1993 Ford Explorer on Gayley Avenue on Dec. 2.

Someone stole $2,500 worth of camera equipment from Public Policy 1041 between Dec. 1 and Dec. 2.

A $1,025 bicycle was stolen from the bike racks on the south side of the law school between 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Dec. 2.

A car stereo and speakers worth around $375 were stolen from a white 1998 Acura Integra between Nov. 30 and Dec. 2.

Someone stole a red and black 2003 Honda motorcycle on Dec. 3.

A $1,000 laptop was stolen from Sunset Village residential complex’s Canyon Point building on Dec. 4.

Someone stole a gray 2002 Honda motorcycle from a garage on Veteran Avenue between Nov. 26 and Nov. 29.

Someone stole an $800 gray Cannondale mountain bike between Nov. 26 and Nov. 27.

An Apple iPod, its battery charger and base station worth around $400 were stolen from a room in Rieber Hall between Nov. 25 and Nov. 26.

Miscellaneous

Approximately 100 people were shouting at each other at Meyerhoff Park on Dec. 2 with possible racial overtones.

Someone was reported to be prowling behind Hitch Residential Suite B, carrying a flashlight and plastic bags on Dec. 4.

Someone reported people yelling on the roof of Macgowan Hall on Dec. 4. Three subjects exited the roof, and at least one was in a Santa Claus costume.

UCPD was contacted on Nov. 26 about a man loitering outside the women’s shower at the Student Activities Center (formerly the Men’s Gym). He was escorted out of the building.

UCPD was contacted on Nov. 28 about someone loitering for three to four hours behind the flower case at the Center for Health Sciences gift shop. The loiterer went to UCLA Medical Center’s emergency room.

Someone called about several people smoking marijuana on the Center for Health Sciences’ first floor on Nov. 29.

A man was reported to have been using the shower in the women’s bathroom at the Student Activities Center on Nov. 30. He was taken into custody for trespassing and later was released.
