THE SPREAD OF CANCER
The bottom region shows cancer cells breaking away from normal cell constraints and reproducing uncontrollably. This rapid replication leads to the formation of a growth, or tumor, in different parts of the body. The dominant cancer cell at the center moves through the body and spreads the disease, using its many projections to attach to different surfaces.
