Professor David Scott is chair of the UCLA/Getty Program in Archaeological and Ethnographic Conservation, a joint venture of both UCLA and the J. Paul Getty Museum, which Scott helped form in 2003. Most of the program's activities are held at the Fowler Museum and the Getty Villa. UCLA's archeological and ethnographic graduate students are currently aiding in the renovation of the Southwest Museum of the American Indian.
