Setter Nellie Spicer has been a huge part of the UCLA women’s volleyball team’s success this season. The junior from Barrington, Ill., ranks fourth all-time for the Bruins in assists, and has played an important role this year as the team has used a spread-out offensive attack. She is currently averaging 12 assists per game and the Bruins have won 15 of their first 18 contests.
