After throwing themselves together as a band to compete in Spring Sing last year, the members of JP and the Ambassadors were surprised to walk away with a win as best band entry. Branching out from the Motown-inspired “Hopefully,” the only song the band had prepared for the competition, JP and the Ambassadors has since written, recorded and edited its debut EP, in a rented shed.
